Today’s K-12 classrooms are built upon leveraging technology to support teaching and learning. However, utilizing new tools without properly addressing privacy concerns may expose students and districts to unnecessary risks. Understanding and addressing privacy requirements in today’s world of online tools can be complex and require many resources. Session attendees will learn from practitioners who have addressed these issues head-on. They will share their challenges, successes, realistic solutions and workflow ideas to address these complex issues including TEC's Student Data Privacy Alliance.
